Donate to Make a Difference:
Your generosity can help us provide nutritious meals to those in need this Thanksgiving. Every donation counts, whether monetary or in-kind. By donating, you are directly contributing to the well-being of your neighbors and helping to spread Aloha, which embodies love, compassion, and kindness.

Meal Distribution: We aim to prepare and distribute over 200 chef-prepared Thanksgiving meals to homeless and needy families in the surrounding community. Chef Charles, Advancing Aloha's President and Executive Chef, will lead the culinary efforts, ensuring that high-quality meals are provided.

Volunteer Engagement: We anticipate recruiting over 50 dedicated volunteers from diverse backgrounds who will assist in cooking and distributing the meals. This collaborative effort will embody the Hawaiian values of community and service, demonstrating how ‘ohana extends beyond biological families to include all community members joining together for a common purpose.

Food Drive and Pantry Items: Along with the prepared meals, we will organize a food drive to collect canned goods and pantry items. These essential resources will provide families with the means to sustain themselves through the winter months, addressing both immediate needs and long-term food security.

Community Contributions: We are reaching out to local community members and businesses to donate turkeys and other essential food items. This aspect of the initiative highlights the importance of local support and how community engagement can create a significant impact. Volunteers will assemble for two days prior to Thanksgiving to help Chef Charles with cooking and packaging the foods. This hands-on participation will not only ensure a high-quality outcome but also foster camaraderie and enhance community bonds.
